How often should I get my carpets professionally cleaned?
Every 12 months at minimum - and that's even if they look fine. The stuff doing the real damage (allergens, bacteria, abrasive soil particles) is invisible. If you've got kids, pets, or allergies, every 6 months is better. Think of it like servicing your car - you don't wait until it breaks down.
My carpet was cleaned last time and it got dirty faster. What happened?
That's usually a residue problem. If too much cleaning solution is left in the carpet (common with rental machines and inexperienced operators), it acts like a magnet for dirt. We rinse thoroughly with professional extraction equipment, so this doesn't happen.
How long until I can walk on the carpet?
Straight away with clean socks or bare feet. It'll be damp but walkable immediately. Full drying takes 4-6 hours depending on ventilation and humidity. We'll tell you what to expect for your specific situation.
I've got a stain that nothing will shift. Can you help?
Probably - but we'll be honest with you. Most stains come out with professional treatment. Some (bleach, certain dyes, old pet stains that have set) might be permanent. We'll assess it and tell you upfront what's realistic before we start.
Is it safe for my kids and pets?
Yes. Our products are safe for the whole family once the carpet is dry. If someone in your household has specific allergies or chemical sensitivities, let us know and we'll adjust what we use.
Do you move furniture?
We'll move light furniture (dining chairs, small tables, etc.) as part of the job. Heavy items like sofas, beds, and entertainment units we'll clean around. If you can shift the small stuff before we arrive, it saves time and gets you a better result.
What does it cost?
It depends on the area size, carpet type, and how much work it needs. We'll give you a quote upfront - no hidden charges, no "oh, that'll be extra" once we're there. Call us with a rough idea of what you need and we'll give you a ballpark over the phone.
I've had a flood / burst pipe. What do I do?
Call us immediately on 0412 336 397 - we're available 24/7. Every hour matters with water damage. While you wait: turn off the water source if you can, move valuables off the floor, and don't try to vacuum up standing water with a regular vacuum. We'll handle the rest.
